Throughout my background, my attraction and my interest for sciences in general have continued to grow. After a two years university diploma in Life Sciences, I joined INSFA in Rennes (Food Science Engineer, 2004) and then a master degree in Biology, Production and Physical Chemistry of Milk and finally the University of Rennes 1 (PhD in Physics, 2008).

Recruited as a lecturer at Agrocampus Ouest following my Ph.D., I had the opportunity to integrate a dynamic working group on the fields of concentration, spray-drying and condensed systems, which allows the collaboration with physicists, biochemists, physical chemistry and process engineering specialists. My research is part of the control of the drying of dairy protein solutions with regard to their functionality in particular in terms of the contribution of interfacial phenomena. This multidisciplinary approach provides a more comprehensive view of the research topic and thus improves its open-mindedness to other scientific disciplines. It is important to mobilize conceptual tools from the physical chemistry of interfaces and from the physics of soft matter that is to combine fundamental aspects at the service of preoccupations of food science and technology. Thanks to the privileged partnership with the dairy industry, we can produce generic knowledge based on simple models, but we can also be interested in more complex systems by going through with the process of innovation product.

To conclude, all these activities validated my decision to be a lecturer. The several facets of this profession make it no doubt both a professional experience and an exciting adventure. Thus, in 2017, I accepted the mission of leader of the SMCF team at STLO research unit, a new stage in this research team where knowledge sharing and collective construction of thought is center stage!
