PhD topic

The potential of derelict urban spaces and collaborative approaches, how to respond to the challenges of climate change by making acceptable social and environmental changes.

With the aim of addressing the challenges of the socio-environmental transition, this work is intended to explore the mobilization of the potential of derelict urban spaces through the principle of collaborative approaches to planning. It will involve the analysis of current practices and knowledge in this field in order to develop a collaborative method for developing derelict urban spaces that will be tested in France and in Quebec. This will be accompanied by a reflexive approach to the integration of the need to respond to the challenges related to climate change in an urban environment.
