Environmental certifications and farm performances

The study the role of environmental certifications within agricultural supply chains and their utilization in public policies design. The objectives are as follows: 1) to identify the effects of adopting environmental certifications on the agronomic and economic performances of farms, 2) to analyze the attributes of contracts that can promote the adoption of environmental certifications, and 3) to identify the role of environmental certifications as instruments of public policies.
