Equipment

800 m2 pilot technological facility

A large set of processing equipment covering a wide range of unit operations and scales is available in the Dairy Platform.

Each piece of equipment is independent but all are connectable to one another with the use of flexible tubing and buffering tanks. This original way of working offers a wide range of possible technological schemes as well as flexibility.

The equipment for milk preparation (cream separation, homogenisation and heat treatment) is installed in a 400 m2 room. Two cheesemaking rooms (soft and hard-type cheeses), two ripening rooms, one brining room and two food processing rooms are also part of the facility. The total surface of the Dairy Platform is about 800 m2.
