AquaCrispr

AquaCrispr - Optimization of the CRISPR/Cas9 knock-in technology and application in salmon and trout

Project funded by a joint call by the Marine biotechnology ERA-Net and the COFASP (Cooperation in Fisheries, Aquaculture and Seafood Processing)

The laboratory is one of the 3 partners of the AQUACRispr project.

This project will focus on establishing an efficient knock-in technology in salmon and rainbow trout.

This will be done in combination with exploring the technology further in zebrafish and medaka. The AquaCrispr project is led by Rolf Brudvik Edvarsen (Institute for Marine Research, Norway) with German partner (Uwe Irion, Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology in Tübingen).
