Expertise: Geomatics applied to landscape planning

Keywords: Geographic Information System (GIS), Landscape indicators, Ecology, Rural-Urban gradient, Semi-natural habitats

Research

Ph.D.: Hydrological modelling and nitrogen transfers in soli and groundwater

Current Research Topics

Landscape dynamics study with a focus on semi-natural habitats under anthropic pression:

  • Urban-rural gradient (temporal and spatial); relation to semi-natural habitats
  • Use of geomatics and teledetection to understand landscape organisation and evolution
  • Influence of spatial organisation of landscapes (fragmentation, connectivity, landuse and landcover types…) on biodiversity.
Current Projects
  • URBIO - Biodiversity of urban areas
  • N4C - Nature for City
  • Beautour Gretia
Participation in Networks

Teaching experience

Lecturer in geomatics applied to landscape architecture and landscape planning at Agrocampus Ouest / Angers campus.

The major part of my teaching skills lays on GIS teaching, from bases at the licence level to application in landscape study and planning in master's degree, in different types of landscape (sea side, urban, etc.). I help students during the diagnostics phasis or landscape project.
